The Discovery Playbook

Summer Co-Parenting Series

Over the last five weeks inside the Summer Co-Parenting Series, we’ve been tackling some of the biggest challenges moms face in high-conflict co-parenting.

First, we talked about boundaries — because you can’t keep saying yes to things that cost you your peace.

Then, we moved into negotiation — because not every disagreement can wait for mediation, attorneys, or court.

After that, we audited our parenting plans — because vague language and weak agreements often become the source of years of unnecessary conflict.

Next, we tackled mediation — because preparation, not hope, is what leads to better outcomes.

Most recently, we built a documentation system — because your memory isn’t a strategy, and documentation is only valuable if it’s organized and intentional.

Now we’re taking the next step.

The Discovery Playbook

Because the truth is…

Most moms think discovery is just a stack of paperwork their attorney handles behind the scenes.

They assume they’ll simply tell the judge what happened.

Or they request piles of documents without ever stopping to ask whether those documents actually help prove the issues that matter most.

The reality is…

Discovery isn’t about collecting more information.

It’s about getting the right information to make better decisions, negotiate from a position of strength, and build a stronger case before you ever walk into court.

During this workshop, I’ll show you how to approach discovery strategically—so you understand what you’re trying to prove, what information you actually need, and how to avoid wasting time and money chasing documents that don’t move your case forward.

During this training, you’ll learn:

âś” What discovery is (and why it matters even if you have an attorney)

âś” How to identify exactly what information you need to build your case

âś” How to make targeted, strategic discovery requests instead of generic ones

✔ When informal discovery makes sense—and when it’s time to escalate

âś” The biggest mistakes moms make that cost them time, money, and valuable evidence

Whether you’re representing yourself, working with an attorney, or simply trying to better understand the legal process, this workshop will help you approach discovery with more confidence, clarity, and strategy.
